Wojciech Szczesny returned to AS Roma on loan, while Arsene Wenger, Jack Wilshere and Alex Scott attended the Premier League launch of the 2016/17 season. Julio Pleguezuelo joined RCD Mallorca on loan, while Stefan O’Connor will spend the season at MVV Maastricht in the Netherlands. Kelechi Nwakali joined the academy, while young defender Daniel Ballard became a first-year scholar. The club will host a screening at Emirates Stadium of our away game against Watford. Arsenal in the Community took students to Switzerland and Liechtenstein. The club and SportPesa announced they will extend their partnership. Arsenal Ladies were drawn away to Manchester City in the Continental Cup semi-finals, and are also offering girls the chance to train with the senior side.
